A “top neighborhood” is one convenient to work, play and necessary amenities, that retains real estate value; an ongoing source of pride, pleasure, comfort and convenience to those who live there. Given standards of new developments, maintenance of existing neighborhoods and a quality of life that quickly puts southeastern North Carolina on the residential wish lists of most visitors, there are a large number of “top neighborhoods” for prospective new residents to choose from.
